I’ve been in health and fitness since a young age of 13 with wrestling,football and track. I just have a huge passion for helping people. As a kid, I wanted to be a male Nurse (it wasn’t so cool at that time) so I opted to join the military instead. So my desire to help has always been there.

My favorite food: Pizza hands down, I will aslo crush any dessert but specifically warm oatmeal chocolate chip cookies!

A collegiate volleyball player turned fitness Coach! I have been coaching since 2020 and really love helping people hit their fitness goals!

Coach Cornelius (C)

14 years of CrossFit experience and 11 years of coaching, I have dedicated my life to fitness, competition, and helping others achieve their goals. My coaching philosophy is all about intensity, precision, and most importantly—fun. Beyond the gym, I enjoy skiing, going to the movies, and spending time with my wife and dogs. Fitness is my lifestyle, but I also believe in balance—pushing hard in training and enjoying life outside of it. Let’s get stronger, move better, and have fun doing it!

Coach Emily K.

I was introduced to CrossFit in 2013 and never looked back! I started coaching after getting my L1 in 2020; I will be obtaining my L2 later this year. I have played sports my entire life (started at 3 because they needed my dad to coach the local T-ball team). Outside of the gym, I have a full time job as a Peds RN at Duke, I volunteer at the Urban Ministries Health Clinic in Raleigh, and I am a wife/mother/grandmother/dog mom (I have 3 rescue dogs). I think CrossFit is so sustainable for me because it’s constantly varied and I’m always learning new things. I love coffee and my favorite food is PIZZA.

Coach Emily N.

I have been coaching since 2013 after starting CrossFit in 2011 to stay in shape for rugby. I stayed with CF because of the community and constant challenges, I love being more fit now than I was in my early 20’s. I grew up on a farm in a super small town in Iowa, playing all the sports my tiny school offered: softball, volleyball, basketball, and track & field. Outside of the gym I really enjoy cooking, reading, and long walks through scenic hiking trails.
